Sen. John McCollister – who is a champion for expanded food assistance – wants to build organization support for his personal priority bill, LB 108 SNAP Cliff Effect Bill. It would increase the income limit for food assistance and enable people to transition off support as their income increases. The bill has no state fiscal cost until 2025.
